The fourth of July Festivities

Ethan had a great time on his very first Independence Day! We spent the afternoon and evening in Evanston at the park with our friends Jon and Katie and Allison, Ricky and their 3 week old son Drew. Of course Ethan loved that he was the center of attention and would whine if people stopped noticing him for a second :)
As you can see, he was hungry and so we fed him some cereal at the park. It was actually the first time he wanted it. Most of the time he is really dramatic and just starts gagging right away. I guess he got that trait from his mother :) I would love to say that he was able to see the wonderful fireworks display that Evanston puts on, but he was out cold. Way past his bedtime and he didn't even flinch for a second when the fireworks were going off! Had a great time with our friends on The Fourth of July~
