six months old

Julianna turned 6 months old on July 11th. She is doing so much more and also she is much more crabby:( Not sure what happened...at first I thought it was teething but her gums are soft and no teeth poking through. Now I think it is she is just way more hungry. At night, she just cannot seem to get enough milk so we are now giving her a bottle of formula. At first she would not take it, but now she is guzzling it down in no time:) 

She also started eating solid food but took her over 2 weeks to get the hang of that! She was such a mess after eating cereal that every time she ate, we had to give her a bath! Now she is finally getting used to eating and doing great with cereal and her first veggie-carrots:) 

I am trying to make the baby food again just like I did with Ethan so I am really hoping she is a better eater than him and that she is not phased by textures. We purchased the beaba baby food maker which sounds awesome because it cooks, defrosts, warms and purees the food all in one. Really looking forward to getting that in the mail soon. 

So, Julianna is hitting her milestones just fine. She is almost sitting by herself and she is trying to crawl like crazy. She has done a few little scoots but she just gets so frustrated. I fear as soon as she starts crawling...she may be off!  Time to baby proof again:(

She weighs 13 lbs 5 ounces and somehow shrunk in height! Well, the doc thought it was an inaccurate measurement which I am sure it was:) She is still a little peanut...only in the 10th percentile but growing at a nice steady pace. She still fits into some of her 0-3 month clothes so she is getting good use out of them. Can't complain about that:)
