Long time comin'

Okay, it has been a loooong time since I have posted on this blog. Not because I don't want to, but I feel like I have been in hibernation for a while and am just coming out for the summer (except now it is actually winter). Anyways, we have some exciting news here....expecting baby #3 on May 30, 2011!
Still trying to wrap my brain around having a 3yr old, 16 month old and a newborn...boy, Julianna...you are not going to be a very happy girl. I am 17 weeks along and just starting to feel normal again, but still fairly exhausted. Or is it the holidays that are doing that to me?! Anyways, we have been busy this first part of winter despite the fact that it has barely snowed here. Ethan has tried skiing with Mark and couple times and loves it. Julianna is now 11 months old and we are looking forward to her first birthday celebration coming soon. We had a great time celebrating Hanukkah this year, which was the first week of December. We had a latkes dinner and then a traditional Hanukkah dinner with friends. I made a brisket and kugel and it turned out well. We lit the menorah every night (just about) and Ethan was very excited to do this. He learned all about the menorah at school and was even able to bring one in to light every day. We tried teaching him dreidel and he learned the song. I bought him a lot of gelt to play with and was very happy when he was unable to figure out that it was actually chocolate. That is until his older friends came over, spotted the gelt and yelled "chocolate gelt!" O-well, I guess that cat is out of the bag:( As you might imagine, he likes gelt a whole lot more now:)

I will post more about some of our Christmas celebrations including visiting santa, which was just pure classic. Gotta love Santa Claus!

 First time skiing at A-basin!
Go Army...beat Navy!!!! E and Mark watching the game and festive army fans for our Army vs. Navy party. The black nights lost but the party was still fun...maybe next year Army!
