we are sooooo looking forward to our trip to Florida in just 8more days. Can't wait to relax on the beach and by the pool while sipping on "froo, froo" drinks....Aaah, it's going to be the life. It will be our first trip as a family with the little guy so that means a bunch of firsts for him; first plane ride (cross your fingers that this goes well), first time to see the ocean, and first time in a pool. I truly hope that I don't get any really horrible glances as we load on the plane. I am sure I will though because before I had Ethan I would always be so ticked off if there was a baby or little kid close to me. boy can they scream and make a flight stressful! So, I am sure I will get some form of payback... I really hope he likes the water, but he already seemed to love it here in Chicago so it should be fine. these pictures and the video are from a couple of weeks ago when we took Ethan to the Ohio Street beach near Navy Pier. I was hoping he would love it, but had no idea he would love it as much as he did. He was laughing, jumping and screaming in the water. He had a ball! He was a little timid of going in deeper water with daddy, but he got over that quick being the dare devil that he is. Hopefully he will love the ocean as much as he loves the lake.
